Specifications for Constituents Relation Management Tool

 

Purpose

 

  • Design a CRM (in this case the "C" stands for Constituents) Tool that allows the organization to track members, donors, staff, board members, people served, volunteers and others involved with the org and the web of relationships that exist across categories.

 

Suggested platform

 

  • Drupal can be configured to meet many of these specs, and would require modification for accessibility of user interface and output.

 

Core Features

 

  • Contact Management: Manage basic contact information and designate contact relationship/role within the organization. Roles may include board members, public members, staff, volunteers, donors, program participants, customers for social entrepreneur services, and others. More than one role is possible per contact and roles must be customizable. All interactions will be collected in a single location.
  • Marketing Automation: Based on contact role and status, ability to build marketing/outreach campaigns.  (i.e. send out marketing newsletters via e-mail). 
  • Campaign Management and reporting for tracking campaigns across multiple channels and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Donor Management for tracking donation history and cultivating new leads.

 

Admin User Interface

 

  • Insure that both the output and actual Admin Interface is Accessible.
